"Pocket Gardens at the 2015 Harrogate Spring Flower Show

We are delighted to announce the return of the popular Pocket Gardens competition at the 2015 Harrogate Spring Flower Show.

The Pocket Gardens, each which measures 1m x 1m x approx 23cms deep, are a great opportunity for community groups and charities across the region to showcase their work and widen their message at Britain’s best gardening event. The show, which runs from 23 – 26 April 2015 at the Great Yorkshire Showground, is expected to attract nearly 60,000 people and 1,000 exhibitors.

Your Pocket Garden can follow any theme and be in any style, so long as it is a garden! There will be a first prize of £150, together with second prize of £100 and third prize of £50, for the top gardens in the category.

Each team will be provided with a 1m x 1m wooden frame in which to build their indoor Pocket Garden, plus compost for planting up. The display will be featured in Gardening Hall 4.
